How to choose which crypto event to go to?

There are a lot of different events to choose from. While not a complete list, below are some of the considerations you're going to want to make when choosing where to go.

Location

There are events all over the world.

Location is going to be a major factor in choosing which of these events you're able to go to. Make sure that, if there is one you're desperate to go to, you can easily get to the location and the cost of travel doesn't mean you're not able to afford entry!

Size

The size of the event should also be considered.

Depending on your goals, you might benefit from a smaller, more intimate setting. Others might need a huge event with hundreds of exhibitors to get the most out of their trip.

Understand which events are going to provide you with the best bang for your buck.

Focus of event

If you're a developer looking to build, you'll likely get more out of a hackathon than a simple conference.

make sure the focus and format of the event matches your needs.

Speakers

Before you go, check the list of speakers and experts.

try to choose an event where the topics and speakers align with your needs and desires.

Price

This is one of the most contentious issues in the space. A lot of people are complaining about the price of some of these events as they cut out a lot of normal people.

Make sure the event has an affordable price, not only for you, but for the people you want to connect with.

Satellite events

Check the satellite events around the primary event.

A lot of people I speak to claim they get more benefit from going to the satellite events rather than the main event.
